2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

3. Products and listings

All items listed on the Site are pre-owned personal garments and accessories, selected and verified by the Seller. Condition descriptions (e.g. "as new", "very good") are provided in good faith and reflect the Seller's assessment of each item at the time of listing. Photographs are taken to represent the item as accurately as possible. Minor differences due to screen calibration are not considered material discrepancies.

Each item is sold individually. Availability is not guaranteed and items may sell out without prior notice.

4. Purchase process

Clicking "Buy" on a product redirects you to Shopify's external checkout platform. The purchase contract between you and the Seller is concluded when you receive an order confirmation from Shopify. By completing a purchase you also agree to Shopify's Terms of Service.

Payment is processed exclusively by Shopify and its payment partners. The Seller does not collect or store your payment card details.

5. Shipping and delivery

Items are shipped from Italy. Estimated delivery times and shipping costs are displayed at checkout. The Seller ships with third-party couriers and cannot be held liable for delays caused by the courier, customs, or other circumstances outside our control. Risk of loss passes to you upon handover to the courier.

6. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days of receiving the item, without stating a reason (Art. 52, D.Lgs. 206/2005 – Italian Consumer Code, implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU).

The item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received. Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer unless the item is materially different from its description. Reimbursement will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

7. Authenticity

Every item in the collection has been personally verified by the Seller for authenticity. If you believe a received item is not authentic as described, contact us immediately. We will investigate and, where warranted, issue a full refund including return shipping costs.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this Site — including photographs, text, graphic design, and the "In My Shoes" brand — is owned by or licensed to the Seller. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this Site without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

The Site is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Seller is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Site. The Seller is not liable for the conduct of Shopify's checkout platform, payment failures, or courier delays.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Italian or EU law.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of the Site that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of [City, Italy].
